Day or night?
Day and night seem to blend into one at the moment, as do all seven days of the week. Weekend? Nope, just another day. But I pick day. Generally by 8am I’ve already done a feed, put Leo back down for a sleep, done a load of washing, had my breakfast…although actually come to think of it this morning I just went back to bed for a nap ’til 10.

Diet Coke? Full fat?
Neither. Coffee. Black. Large.
00:06
Home or away?
Home. Tempted to go away but how does one do this with a baby and all of their paraphernalia?
00:09
Deliciously Ella (@deliciouslyella) or Deliciously Stella (@deliciouslystella)?
Stella. Has anyone actually managed to make anything vaguely tasty from DE? Just asking…
00:11
Last person you called?
I called a friend at 10.10pm last night to ask how on earth she went on holiday with a three month old and if I am mental even thinking about booking a holiday.
00:15
Last thing you bought?
Milk and strawberries.
00:18
One thing you wished you’d known (pre-baby)?
That everything really is a phase and that is does get better. I was told this but I didn’t really get it and so ignored it, then wondered why I was crying in Selfridges with a 10 day old whilst attempting to go back to ‘normal.’ You do go back to normal eventually. Not at 10 days.
00:27
One thing you wish you’d not been told (pre-baby)?
I was careful in only listening to advice from people that I trust and are on the same wavelength to me. Anything else I blocked out/ignored/instantly forgot.
00:33
Can’t live without…
The Sound Sleeper white noise app. If you see a woman pushing a pram with the sound of a hairdryer blasting out, it’s me. On the plus side, he should be perfectly happy if I ever take him to the hairdressers with me.
00:39
Can’t live with…
Competitiveness. This new world of motherhood is rife with it. I’m not into that.
00:42
Best mothering moment?
When I looked over into his moses basket one morning and he smiled at me for the first time.
00:49
Worst mothering moment?
Whilst Facetiming my in-laws, I picked him up and help him above my face gazing adoringly into his eyes and he sicked into my mouth.
00:50
Shout out to…
All the mums out there doing this, still having fun and being themselves.
00:59
Motherhood is…
More special that I ever thought possible.
