… Kelly Seymour, founder of Cult of Youth
She’s a Mama to Elvis (great name right there) and the woman behind achingly cool jewellery brand Cult of Youth (unless you’ve been on a digital detox, you’ll have seen her signature ‘Mama’ and ‘Mother’ necklaces smattered across Instagram). Aside from rocking motherhood, the perfect dip-dye and being a generally nice person, she’s even been snapped up by Urban Outfitters to launch a collection. All in all, this is one Mama to watch
00:01
Day or night?
I used to be a total night bird but since having Elvis my fave time is between the hours of 5.30 and 7am when we cuddle and watch QVC.
00:03
Diet Coke? Full fat?
Full fat. Mama’s gotta have some fun.
00:06
Home or away?
I’ve worked and lived in other countries and moved to London when I was 17 but completely turned 180 degrees and became a bit of a homebody when I got pregnant. The big dream is to buy a house on the same road as my mama.
00:09
Deliciously Ella (@deliciouslyella) or Deliciously Stella (@deliciouslystella)?
Neither currently but YES to both once I get my boobs back. (I just realised this doesn’t mean booze Stella! Baby brain; the gift that keeps on giving.)
00:11
Last person you called?
My lovely pal and old partner in crime John. We were swapping tales of the past week’s adventures. He’s been in Ibiza and I have a five-week-old-baby. Our all-nighters have changed!
00:15
Last thing you bought?
A miniature Metallica T-shirt.
00:18
One thing you wished you’d known (pre-baby)?
How fun it is! And that vaginas are resilient things.
00:27
One thing you wish you’d not been told (pre-baby)?
That he was ‘a 7 lb baby’ by my midwife the day before I went into labour. He was 10 lbs 4!
00:33
Can’t live without…
Nike Roshes. And Instagram… the sisterhood is real.
00:39
Can’t live with…
Busy bodies. Mind your own.
00:42
Best mothering moment?
It’s just really nice having a constant pal to do all your things with. One day I’d like to take us travelling but for now the Post Office is OK.
00:49
Worst mothering moment?
Yesterday’s poo explosion was an experience. Does anybody have a pair of toucan leggings for sale? Ours are currently on their way to Mini Rodini heaven.

Shout out to…
My MM ladies… so much love! Also everyone that’s ordered something or sent lovely emails, thank you. Jenny for bringing so many wicked women together and @thegreatfrog who do amazing jewellery handmade in the basement of their Carnaby Street store. I studied silversmithing at university, and have wanted to evolve Cult of Youth into the precious metals market for a while, so their vibe and beliefs are everything I stand for. @tibaandmarl ladies for making really nice changing bags; they launch next month and I want them ALL. Elvis Fox for being a dream babe (is that mental to shout out your own baby?) Oh and Don’t Buy Her Flowers (@stephdouglas1981) is the best. Total #mumboss and all round babe. And, of course, my Mum for getting me through labour and only fainting once.

Motherhood is…
A total head fuck with glorious highs. The best club I’ve ever been in.
