Number of kids?

Two. Art is nearly three and Elfie is nearly one.

Worst mothering moment?

Being so hungover (and sick) I had to call The Godmother to come over and look after us all.

Best mothering moment?

The daily hugs, smiles, and love.

What’s ‘Dress like a Mum’ about?

DRESS LIKE A MUM is a campaign to change the bad rep of dressing like a mum and the misconception that mums can’t dress. I started it because I often receive comments such as ‘you don’t look/dress like a mum’ and it made me think about whether these comments were compliments or not and if so why weren’t they. And if I don’t look like a mum, what was a mum supposed to look like? I post a photo more or less everyday of my (breastfeeding-friendly) outfits, then follow up with alternative ideas to this outfit/item on the website Dress Like a Mum. I want to inspire mums with fun, easy-to-wear outfits and to not lose their love of clothes despite what their children throw at them. I have also started a make-up and beauty section where I would like to share tried and tested products and tips – mum to mum.

Home or away?

Can I have both? LOVE going away and then I LOVE coming and being at home.

Can’t live without…

My family.

Can’t live with…

Bad manners – there is no point. And people who drop litter – they are never good people.

What’s the last thing you bought?

A pair of leopard print sunglasses by Le Specs.

Last call?

To book a taxi to collect my friends from the airport – they are coming over from Stockholm for the weekend to see us.

Most pukka thing you own?

I think my engagement ring that I designed, it’s amazing. I love it so much (and the person who gave it to me obviously).

Most annoying thing other mother’s say?

Its not that annoying but we say ‘right’ just before we are about to change what we are doing. eg. ‘Right’ time to get our coats on / ‘Right’ we must go to the toilet – listen out for it, it get says a lot by mums (including me).

Mothering is…

Awesome, tiring, fun, relentless, brilliant, challenging and amazing.

Mum style is…

There is no such thing. There is style and there is no style.
